Who we are
"World Cup Bet" ("we", "us") is an independent affiliate publisher. Editorial and technical contact: privacy@worldcup-bet.com.
What we collect
- Analytics data. Page views, referrer, anonymised IP (last octet stripped), user-agent string, and locale. We use this to understand what content readers find useful.
- Affiliate click data. When you click an operator link, we record the operator slug, the source page, an SHA-256 hash of your IP, an SHA-256 hash of your user-agent, and the timestamp. We do not store your raw IP or user-agent. We use this to reconcile commission payments from operators.
- Cookies. We use a strictly necessary cookie for the locale preference and a single first-party analytics cookie. We do not run cross-site tracking pixels or third-party advertising tags.
What we do not collect
- We do not have user accounts; we never ask for your email, name, or payment details.
- We do not sell or share personal data with operators or any other third party.
- We do not link analytics data to any identifier that could be combined with operator records to identify you.
Your rights
Under GDPR (EU), UK GDPR, PDPA (Thailand, Singapore), and similar laws, you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we do not maintain an identified user record, the data we can practically associate with you is limited to your IP hash and only for the retention window described below. Email privacy@worldcup-bet.com with the timestamp and approximate page of a click and we can locate and delete the corresponding record.
Retention
Affiliate click records are retained for 90 days to reconcile commission payments, then deleted. Analytics aggregates (no IP, no UA) are retained indefinitely in anonymised form.
Third parties
Our hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), and sports data provider (Sportmonks) are sub-processors. Each operates under standard data-processing agreements. We do not embed Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok pixel, or any similar third-party analytics or advertising scripts.
Cookies in detail
- wcb_locale — first-party, 1 year, strictly necessary, stores your preferred language.
- wcb_session — first-party, session-only, used by our edge runtime to detect repeat page views within a session for analytics deduplication.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for 14 days. The "effective" date at the top reflects the most recent update.
